This Liriope
cultivar is a rhizomatous, grass-like perennial which forms
clumps of narrow (1/4" wide) leaves. Leaves are striped with
beautiful silver/white banding. Erect flower spikes with pale
lavender flowers arise among the leaves in late summer. Flowers
often give way to blackish berries in fall. It forms a broad,
dense carpet and seems resistant to leaf-spot diseases which
sometimes afflict other variegated liriopes. |
